Engineering

Engineering utilizes the latest in computer assisted design equipment. Site reviews, discussions with the customer, field measurements and preliminary meetings with the utilities and inspection authorities provide the basis for each design.

Approval drawings, one line diagrams, ground fault and coordination studies accompany each substation design.

First the need for the substation is established, site conditions are then assessed and a method of installation is proposed to meet all applicable building and electrical code requirements, taking into account a customer’s budget constraints, which may dictate the selection of equipment.

Engineering services include: Design/build substations, Co-ordination studies, Fault level analysis, Ground studies, Load studies, Arc Flash Studies, and Contingency plans.
