<p>He noted he didn&#8217;t have much information on the project, but did support it because it had the potential to result in much-needed jobs.</p>
<p>Hollywood added St. Thomas Energy will monitor developments as they impact the energy industry.</p>

The company helped build five wind farms in Southwestern Ontario last year.Aubrey Friedman, the company&#8217;s manager of renewable energy, is hopeful Tiltran would be involved in construction of the new generation.&#8221;We see this as a positive thing because we will be in a position because of our experience with wind and solar to date to pick up some of this extra work,&#8221; he said.Friedman has already been in contact with Samsung and key project developers.&#8221;We see Tiltran as an integral part of renewable energy projects in the province as we move forward,&#8221; he said.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A study concluding wind turbines have no adverse effects on humans was met with mixed reaction.</p>
<p>An international panel of experts released the report reviewing a large body of scientific literature on sound and health effects. The panel concluded that sounds or vibrations emitted from wind turbines have no adverse effect on human health.</p>
<p>The Canadian Wind Energy Association (CANWEA) and American Wind Energy Association jointly established the panel. All material was peer-reviewed scientific literature. Members of the panel included experts in medicine, audiology, acoustics, environmental and public health. The experts are from Canada, the United States, United Kingdom and Denmark.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>There were plenty of aerobatic acts to see during the afternoon, the U.S. Air Reserve A-10 Warthogs, a brightly painted CF-18A fighter jet, U.S. Air Force F-16s, a Pitts Special stunt plane owned by Bill Carter, a flypass by the huge USAF C-17 Globemaster transport plane, air-to-air refuelling demonstrations, a helicopter demonstration by a Canadian Armed Forces CH-146 Griffon and a restored F-86 Sabre wearing Golden Hawks markings.</p>
<p>The Golden Hawks, an RCAF aerobatics team formed in the late 1950s, were the predecessor to the Snowbirds, which fly CT-114 Tutors.</p>
<p>Garland credited the sponsorship of St. Thomas Energy with making the show possible.</p>
