Incorporated in 1982, Tiltran Services specializes in Power Systems, and current services include Engineering, Construction, Maintenance, Technical Services, and Equipment Sales. Tiltran Services has gained wide recognition for its expertise and personal service as one of the largest High Voltage Contractors in Ontario.
Centrally located in Southwestern Ontario, the company serves utilities, private industries, institutions and electrical contractors. Tiltran Services, with its staff of engineers, technicians, electricians, apprentices and support personnel, has expanded its facilities, staff and resources to accommodate our ongoing growth. Our team possesses a fine balance of both engineering ability and practical experience in all aspects of the trade.
Our unique services require unique skills. In order to ensure the highest service levels, we have a full-time Safety and Training Coordinator who is responsible for our comprehensive health, safety and training programs. These programs are designed to protect our team, as well as your team and your equipment.
Tiltran Services has had more High Voltage approval submissions with the ESA (Electrical Safety Authority) than any other company in Ontario, the last six years in a row.
Recently the company has excelled in the field of transformer replacement, reducing the environmental risk of such facilities as the Art Gallery of Ontario, several sites for the Region of Niagara and most recently for London Health Sciences at both the Linen Services facility and replacing the three main power transformers ~ University Hospital.
Under the new corporate branding of "Partners in Power", Tiltran Services, along with its associated inventory company Lizco Sales , who are Electrical Power Equipment Specialists, offers its customers a wide selection of inventory. Lizco Sales also boasts having the LARGEST PRIVATELY OWNED TRANSFORMER INVENTORY IN CANADA and besides developing a large Canadian customer data base for distribution, it services customers internationally as well.

Tiltran Services and Lizco Sales are socially responsible, and the company and its employees have made an impact within the local community. Tiltran Services actively participates in the community, giving heartily of their time and resources to various fund-raising activities for both local and regional benefit. A social committee (SCAT) was formed and holds fund-raising dances, runs the tuck shop in the lunchroom and even looks after the company recycling program. Some of the proceeds raised by SCAT have provided bursaries for local high school students, who choose to enter the engineering field or the electrical trade apprenticeship program. |
